PEOPLETRACK EMPATHISES WITH MARIST CONVENT SCHOOL
PeopleTrack, the sales and management training company,
has been praised for the Empathy-based training it has provided
for teachers at Marist Convent Senior School in Sunninghill,
Berkshire. The school acclaimed the half-day workshop as “first
class staff training”.
PeopleTrack was introduced to the school’s Headteacher,
Karl McCloskey, at an Education Business Partnership meeting.
The company explained how its Empathy Programme identifies
seven personality types. It shows teachers the most effective
way of working with each type and how to relate to them and
teach them.
Two of PeopleTrack’s accredited trainers - Jim Wigg
and Tony Robinson - subsequently visited the school and ran
a half-day workshop for 55 teachers. The teachers were shown
how to spot each personality type, including learning which
type they were themselves, and were shown their strengths
and weaknesses.
The workshop proved to be highly successful. Karl McCloskey
commented: “The team were dynamic and even managed
to energise the staff on their first day back after the Easter
holidays! Tony and Jim took us through the programme carefully,
sensitively and appropriately. The feedback I have received
formally and informally has been very positive and appreciative
in every sense.”
