Walter Blackburn - Founder
Walter founded PeopleTrack in 1993 after a 20 year career in sales, management
and personal development training. His vision is to inspire people for them
to achieve their full potential. He has developed leading edge training
programmes and built a team of superb
trainers to deliver measureable results. In his spare time Walter is learning
to sail - and to sing!
Instructors
PeopleTrack has a team of 30 Instructors. They each bring
special skills and experience to their work with us. Instructors
are carefully trained, going through a structured development
process, before being accredited to lead PeopleTrack programmes.
Here is a sample of the team:
Alan Elston - Instructor
Alan is a Masters graduate in Human Resource Management. He is also a master
in business presentations and has been a significant contributor to the development
of our major bid support and coaching programme for large companies. Alan
is a superb and powerful presenter and loves to coach senior people for key
presentations - either as the lead coach in the PeopleTrack Persuasive Presentations
Programme or through individual sessions. In his spare time you'll find him
visiting the gym, riding his BMW motorbike, horse riding or water-skiing.
Andrew Jay - Sales Associate
Andrew Jay has over 20 years’ experience in the telecoms and IT area,
including pre and post sales, technical and product marketing, European & International
sales and marketing, project management and QA management. He has worked for
ICL, Micom & Nortel and has also run his own European marketing company.
He speaks fluent German, with reasonable French and Dutch. He has a degree
in biochemistry from University College, London.
Bob Hayward - Instructor
Bob is a highly experienced sales training consultant, specialising in the
areas of account management and negotiation skills. His training style is
energetic and passionate. He generates enthusiasm, commitment and ownership
amongst the participants on his courses, which in turn produce high levels
of customer satisfaction and tangible business results. He is married with
four children and runs marathons for charity.
Colette Johnson - Instructor
Colette has been a professional Training Consultant since 1993. Previous experience
includes Regional Sales Manager for Royal Mail Parcelforce, Telesales Manager
and also Training Manager at Thames Valley Auto Trader. Colette specialises
in all aspects of telephone skill training for PeopleTrack, working in many
different market sectors including I.T, Retail, Manufacturing,
Distribution and Publishing.
David Pinnock - Instructor
David has a senior management background in the vehicle finance and distribution
industries. He has had direct sales responsibilities and has developed and
managed businesses. For the last 10 years he has specialised in management
training and personal development. He is passionate about developing the
individual's potential. He has an enthusiasm for life - and claims that his
energetic style comes from having to keep up with the younger members of
his family!
Ed Murray - Instructor
Ed has spent the last 20 years first as a salesperson and latterly as a Human
Resource Director for a major printing company. He is an exceptional management
coach and trainer. Ed is used to dealing with tough business and people issues
- his 'trademark' is to get to the heart of the issue quickly and then find
a workable solution. When not working you will find him trying his hand at
watercolour painting, playing the guitar or encouraging his two teenage sons
on the cricket field.
Jeremy Crouch - Instructor
Jeremy has 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and general management
in information technology, including 13 years at Board Level. He has ten
years of experience in business training. This has given him a deep understanding
of the most effective techniques for helping people to create lasting positive
change. Jeremy focuses on helping people to develop the skills, attitudes,
beliefs, values, strategies and consistent behaviours that will cause them
to excel. He covers Presentations, Sales and Bid Support programmes for PeopleTrack.
Jim Wigg - Instructor
Some of you will know Jim from his sales activity at PeopleTrack. With 21 years
in sales and business development (IT hardware and software, paper, packaging
and print, construction, energy and heating), he now focuses on people development.
Jim loves getting to know a client's business. He is passionate about food
and wine, keeping fit, the outdoors, and skiing with disabled people. Jim
leads a wide range of PeopleTrack programmes including Empathy, Presentations,
Sales and Personal Coaching.
Lesley Hamilton - Instructor
Lesley has 25 years of business experience, the past ten as a professional
coach. Prior to that she worked in sales, marketing and project management,
gaining international experience with global companies in the IT sector as
well as manufacturing, engineering and service industries. PeopleTrack's
longest serving associate, Lesley works primarily as a video review coach
on Persuasive Presentations. She also serves as a coach, writer and project
manager within the business.
Philippa Lee - Instructor
Philippa graduated in Psychology. Subsequently, spent fifteen years in sales,
sales management, recruitment and training. After two years as a professional
presenter, she began personal development training and coaching, specialising
in Peak Performance coaching - based on sports psychology. Philippa is passionate
about human development and studies at the leading edge of research. She
is dedicated to working in the newest ways with businesses and their people,
to achieve their greatest potential.
Richard Lock - Instructor
Richard has over 12 years’ experience of helping people to develop new
skills and knowledge to achieve business goals. He also has 20 years of operational
management experience. His focus is on managing performance, communication,
inter-personal skills and recruitment. Recent projects cover a range of business
sectors including IT, Retail and the Charity Sector. He is a CIPD member and
a qualified user of occupational and psychometric tests.
Tony Robinson - Instructor
Tony is an inspiring sales trainer. This is based on 20 years of sales experience,
combined with a unique brand of energy and enthusiasm. Keen to explore new
ways of training people and getting them into action, he loves to work with
salespeople. Because of his direct and effective approach, senior people
will often request him to help them with kick-offs and other major presentations.
Having worked extensively abroad, Tony is studying Spanish so that he can
get beyond just ordering a drink! |
